Rheingold is 94 units of newly constructed affordable senior housing, 54 studio units, 39 One Bedroom units and 1 Supers unit located on the site of the former Rheingold Brewery in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn.
The LEED Gold 9-story property features state-of-the-art environmentally sustainable building systems, 24-hour security and on-site social services
Financing includes HPD’s Senior Affordable Rental Apartments (SARA) Program, HPD LIHTC, and Inclusionary Housing proceeds. The project also received a NYSERDA Buildings of Excellence funding, FHLBNY AHP fundings, RESO A and Project-based Section 8 for all the tenants.
